Project Overview
Egenolf Industrial Group traveled to Clinton, Illinois, to install two 16,000-pound overhead crane girders. Working alongside the Crane Tech crew, Egenolf provided the rigging and industrial contracting expertise required to safely lift, position, align, and secure the girders to form the crane bridge assembly.
Once the girders were properly positioned and connected, the hoist was carefully lifted and installed onto the secured crane bridge. The project required detailed planning, precise execution, and close coordination between both teams to complete the installation safely and efficiently while minimizing disruption to the customer’s operations.
Scope of Work
Egenolf Industrial Group provided rigging and installation support throughout the crane bridge project, including:
- Crane Girder Rigging: Safely lifted and positioned two 16,000-pound overhead crane girders in preparation for installation.
- Crane Bridge Assembly: Aligned and secured the two girders to create the crane bridge assembly.
- Hoist Installation: Lifted and positioned the hoist onto the secured crane bridge following completion of the girder installation.
- Industrial Contracting Support: Coordinated the installation process with the Crane Tech crew to keep each phase of work moving safely and efficiently.
- Project & Team Coordination: Maintained communication between project managers, operators, riggers, and technicians throughout each lift and installation phase.
