Our Legacy
Our History
Egenolf Industrial began as a family-owned business with a vision to provide unmatched service in machinery moving and industrial contracting. What started as a small operation has evolved into a nationally recognized company serving industries across the nation.
1928
Company Egenolf Machine, Inc. was founded by George Egenolf Sr. and operated by his 5 sons after WWII.
1973
The five brothers decided to separate and specialize in their expertise with Paul Egenolf focusing on offset printing service under the name of Paul Egenolf and Associates.
- Original 10 employees included his wife Verina and son Vince Egenolf.
1997
After the sudden passing of Paul, three of his sons Steve, Vince and Dan Egenolf take over ownership and rebrand the company to Egenolf Industrial Group, Inc. to tie in the family heritage and generational leadership. At this time they refocused the company on industrial contracting for the installation of heavy equipment.
- The Brothers celebrated the 25 year anniversary and honored their mother Verina Egenolf.
- Significant projects included the installation of the Indianapolis Star and Louisville Courier Journal newspaper printing presses.
2010
Vince Egenolf takes 100% ownership with son Tim as President and takes on significant projects in the stamping and metal working industry.
2015
Integration of parallel family company Egenolf Contracting and Rigging brought all Egenolf family companies into the same corporate umbrella.
2016 - Present
Egenolf Industrial Group has continued growing and tackling new industrial challenges from supporting utilities with installing transformers and switchgear, to HVAC and mechanical contractors installing air handlers and boilers. Our expertise has continued to evolve and grow with our customers' challenges.
